In the yard?

Well...a funny story. Yesterday, BoyD was still in his pjs and was walking around the house while I was finishing up feeding BabyM. All of a sudden I realize that he is no longer wandering, and had disappeared. I jump up thinking he has gone into the side yard (Bella's dog run) and go to check on him.

As I call his name, he appears around the corner of the laundry room (linked to the side yard) with his pants down yelling "I'm riiight heeere."

"What on earth are you doing?" I say, "did you need to go peepee?" Obviously this is not the first time that he has relieved himself outside.

To which he replied "No, I had to go poopoo!" Sure enough, he had pulled down his pants and pooped in the yard. "Just like Bella!"

Anyway, we then had a little talk about how only dog's poopoo in the yard, and people only poopoo in the potty. It was really funny. And for the record, it is Brandon's job to clean up the dog mess in the yard. We are just lumping that in too. :)

BabyM has a cruddy cough and I am on my own with the kiddos, as Brandon had to go to the capital to have our car maintained. Depending on how long it takes them to do the car, he might have to spend the night! (Not safe to drive in the dark and it is a 4+ hour drive) Yuck!

It sure seems that I post a lot of poop stories on here! Oh, the life of a mother of youngins.

Getting back to life

It has been so long. I am incredibly busy right now, and just don't have blogging in my routine. Plus, I have some sort of illness or something. I couldn't sleep for two nights and then last night was up all night with nausea. I mean, I felt like if I could just go to sleep then I would feel so much better (like the nausea you get when you are exhausted) but feeling so sick kept me awake. I slept in until 9:30 or so and then napped from 10:45 to 12:45. I am feeling a little better now, just sort of weak.

Anyway, I wanted to post a couple of photos from our Disney World trip! We had so much fun. It really was everything I hoped it would be. Time with my mom and my brother's fam was so great.
BoyD had a blast and is still asking to go back to ride Pirates of the Caribbean, and the space ranger ride. He even got to meet Buz Lightyear!

There's me and BabyM. She had her paci all day every day b/c she had to sleep in the stroller. We had to break that habit when we got home! In Animal Kingdom there is an "It's a Bug's Life" 3-D show. WAY to scary for the kiddos. BoyD had a nightmare about it that night. Those were the "bug eyes" that you needed to see the 3D. Then you see BoyD driving the Jungle cruise! He was so excited.

BabyM slept like this a lot. Poor thing. We wore those kids out. Then of course we saw the Big Man (or Big Mouse) himself!

Our hotel had a beach and the kids loved playing in the sand. This photo was taken just after our luau. We could watch the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom every night from our hotel room or from the beach. Even BabyM got to play in the sand. Then, BoyD got to meet one of his heroes! It was a surprise and we didn't even have to wait in line for more than 5 minutes!

This is my mom and me in front of Cinderella's castle. Disney is really just as fun for the grown ups! Then, we could hang out with the Pooh characters in Downtown Disney. There were very cooperative for the photo! :) Also at Downtown Disney (and at Magic Kingdom as well) there are these areas where there are fountains that come up out of the ground, and we were prepared with swim suits.

On to other things:
We will know about BabyM's weight when I take her in for a flu booster shot on the 6th of April. She isn't eating hardly at all, but she doesn't have diarrhea anymore, so we are hoping that whatever calories she is consuming are sticking. I can tell from her clothes that she is at least taller!

I took this last week "off" in the sense that I didn't homeschool or workout, but I needed the time to rest up. Now I have to get back to work. Seminary is becoming very demanding right now.

A quick preview of possible ministry opportunities in the future: I was asked to "preach" at a women's meeting with the wives of the CAM pastors in the area. I really want to do that. I also have some ideas of a prayer ministry within the churches where are family (along with members of the churches) go to visit those members of the body that are sick and pray for them. Also, I have the idea of some kind of a food pantry ministry where the church members give and then church members in need can get a ration of some kind. Please pray for those opportunities with me as I seek the Lord's will. I obviously don't have time to do all of these things all by myself, so the Lord would have to raise people up for the work.

Tonight we will be watching American Idol (2 weeks behind you so please don't spoil anything!) and eating PB, banana, strawberry, and chocolate chip grilled sandwiches in front of the TV. Yeah!

I have missed being on blogger and I hope to get caught up a bit here pretty soon.
